One story, many audiences


One of the challenges I hear from startup CEOs is how to tailor their pitch to different audiences.

For example, explaining your #technology to interested peers at a conference is one thing. Pitching your #business to investors or presenting your product #portfolio to a potential partner are entirely different situations.

Should you fine-tune your presentation for a specific audience? By all means. Use different company stories for each audience? Absolutely not. A much better approach is to have a simple, powerful, high-level story that connects the audience-specific parts together.
